We are proud to be partnering with a large-scale asset manager on an integral junior hire within the risk team. This collaborative and inclusive department is a part of the wider Legal and Compliance function and they hold an important, highly regarded role in the 2LOD. The ideal candidate will have experience in risk management or internal/ external audit and will be confident in managing the risk event processes from event to resolution.

The Role

  • Take charge of Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA). Execute, assess and collate results to propose to senior management.
  • ICAAP/ ICARA, Recovery Plan, Resolution Pack and WindDown Plan
  • Exposure to key stakeholders
  • Analyse control environment
  • Collaborate and liaise with the business to raise awareness surrounding risk management.
  • MI documents and report information to Risk and Compliance Committees.

About you

  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Exposure to regulatory frameworks
  • Prior risk management experience
  • Positive outlook and diligence
  • Independent worker – effective time management
  • Experience with gathering and analysing data (excel and pivot tables).
