.Leading independent Insurance Broker seeking a Group Risk Analyst to join their expanding team in London.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the effective maintenance and application of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework
  • Conduct risk analysis through monitoring of emerging risks internally and externally within the business and regulatory environments for agreed business areas
  • Support in ensuring that relevant risk issues / events are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved in conjunction with relevant business owners
  • Analyse relevant risk data and support the delivery of appropriate reporting to enable senior management to keep appraised of risk issues
  • Support the preparation of quarterly reports for the relevant Risk and Compliance Committees and Boards, as agreed with the Group Risk Manager
  • Assist with the administration of relevant independent control assurance information provided through 2nd line monitoring and 3rd line audit activity
  • Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Support the delivery of risk management training when necessary

Skills/ Experience Required
 

  • 1-2 years Risk Management experience, preferably from financial services.
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Analytical; problem solving capabilities with strong attention to detail
  • Forward thinker and planner; proactive and uses initiative
  • Adapts and responds well to change and pressure
  • Communicates clearly; effectively interacts with others
