We are supporting our client, a Lloyd’s Insurer, in their search for a Senior Energy Claims Adjuster, to join the business in their amazing London offices on a full-time, flexible hybrid basis. Working on average 3 days a week in the office and 2 days at home, you will be utilising your experience in Energy Claims to cover matters across a variety of areas.
As a Senior Energy Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for dealing and handling high value complex claims, partnering regularly with other teams as well as providing direction and insight to your own.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing the firm’s energy claims portfolio, dealing with international territories. This will involve a high volume of renewable claims, upstream, midstream and downstream as well as some energy liability business.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Handler a large book of energy, liability and terrorism claims.
- Ensuring various claims and settlements are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
- Prepare reports by collecting and summarising information.
- Coordinate loss information for business partners and presents information during meetings with underwriters and/or insureds when applicable.
- Deliver technical training to colleagues and external contacts as appropriate.
- Contribute to maintenance of claims guidelines and best practice procedures.
The right candidate for this role will have an understanding of the Lloyd’s markets, specifically in energy lines, such as upstream, mid stream and downstream. This role requires an individual with prior experience in claims adjusting with advanced expertise and knowledge in technically sophisticated claims topics.
