We are currently recruiting for a well-established player in the financial industry, who specialises in providing a wide array of investment products and services. They are currently seeking a Regional Sales Executive to sit in their Wholesale distribution business unit to cover the Midlands and North of England territories. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing key relationships within this market segment, driving revenue growth, and ensuring unparalleled client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or surpass sales performance targets, driving revenue through compliant product distribution
  • Construct a proactive engagement plan for a book of IFA clients in the geographical region
  • Secure client sales leads for the regional field sales team, scheduling appointments and facilitating event attendance
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for your book of clients, attending meetings and events as necessary
  • Collaborate with the field salesperson and the sales support team to identify and nurture prospects and leads
  • Stay updated on competitors and market trends, including these insights into the sales strategy
  • Ensure a continued comprehensive understanding of the firm’s product range

Requirements:

  • Understanding of the investment management landscape and financial products
  • Prior experience in a similar, office based business development/telephone based role
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and market data tools is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workflow and contact calendar efficiently
