We are recruiting for a leading financial services organisation, recognised for its strong track record and focus on leadership and development of its staff. They are seeking a Sales Support Executive to join their UK Distribution team focusing on their Strategic Partnerships. This role is essential in providing market-leading support services to Sales team members and intermediary clients, operating as a key link between the rest of the sales team and other crucial business areas. These can include Operations, Marketing, Fund Management, and Client Service teams.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the client’s investment products and communicate this knowledge effectively to clients and Sales Managers
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and other business units to ensure effective support for sales efforts
- Support sales activities by organising meetings, client follow-ups and emails
- Deliver high-quality support to Strategic Partner clients by addressing technical queries both pre- and post-sale
- Identify and communicate sales opportunities proactively to other members of the sales team
- Assist the Wholesale Distribution Team in prioritising customer interests and ensuring positive customer outcomes.
- Keep an organised database of consolidated information, sales activity records and supporting materials
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of the Sales/Distribution and Fund Management environment within the Asset Management industry.
- A willingness to pursue investment industry qualifications (IMC etc)
- Experience in Wholesale Markets, Client Service, and Relationship Management is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and distil detailed information into concise summaries.
