Are you looking to elevate your career in claims management? Our client, a distinguished leader in the insurance market, is seeking an exceptional Claims Manager to oversee their Energy and Marine Lines of Business.
This role is a fantastic chance to engage with a diverse and expansive portfolio that includes Renewables, Upstream Energy, Downstream and Power, Energy Liabilities, and Marine classes. You’ll be at the forefront of managing a wide range of products and risks, whilst acting as a referral point for an expanding team.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to drive high performance within a global claims team. You will set goals, motivate your team, and provide guidance through complex claims management processes. Your strategic impact will be significant as you implement claims strategies, handle high-value and intricate claims, and ensure that the portfolio is accurately reserved and managed from initial notification through to resolution.
Your leadership will also extend to identifying training needs, offering development opportunities, and ensuring the effectiveness of any outsource partners. Additionally, you will have the chance to build and maintain crucial relationships with key clients and industry peers, significantly enhancing your professional network and influence. Energy & Marine experience is crucial.
We’re looking for a seasoned claims practitioner with a proven track record in handling Energy and/or Marine claims, ideally in a leadership capacity. Your strong management experience, coupled with excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills, will be crucial. Demonstrated client management abilities and a solid understanding of legal and regulatory issues are also essential for success in this role.
Up to £135K salary with great benefits.
