The Associate will collaborate with the broader Investment team, contributing support to the Client Service and Implementation department. Their duties will involve overseeing the onboarding process for insurance entities, aiding in the implementation of investment strategies, and facilitating prompt resolution of client issues. Candidates should possess practical experience in Client Service/Relationship Management within an asset management context.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate with Investment Team for the onboarding of all new mandates, the establishment of new fund structures, and separately managed accounts to support the implementation of investment strategy.

  • Assist with the coordination of ISDA/CSA documentation working with external counsel on behalf of Fund structures and insurance clients’ balance sheets.
  • Work with Legal to assist with the drafting of client Investment Management Agreements (IMAs), new fund documentation, service definition (SLAs), and legal document execution for ISGI clients.
  • Coordinate Due Diligence Reviews and completion of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) on services in addition to managing quarterly/annual services review of external service providers on behalf of the insurance clients.
  • Primary contact for managing day-to-day queries with service providers (Fund Administrators, Depositary Bank, and AIFM) in each of the jurisdictions that ISGI’s clients have established Funds.
  • Primary point of contact with the Investment teams' clients to ensure the prompt resolution of client matters, including operational and reporting issues they might have with internal teams and external service providers.
  • Support the team with additional ad hoc projects, including but not limited to the business function, operational support, investor requests, and presentations.

 

  • QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

     

  • Experience in a client-facing role for an asset management firm.
  • Experience coordinating and leading complex client and new fund onboardings.
  • Strong ability to balance multiple tasks concurrently with keen attention to detail and a focus on delivery.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to lead and influence positive outcomes.
  • Desirable experience working with ISDA/CSA documentation.
  • Thrives in a rigorous and fast-paced team-oriented work environment.
