Leading Asset Manager seeking a Business Resilience Specialist to join their office in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the design and implementation of the European Resilience strategy for each European entity. This will be the principal tenant for this role therefore excellent stakeholder management skills and a proficiency engaging with senior stakeholders is important.
  • Assist the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) implementation with our Regulatory Programme Office and IT team.
  • Post implementation this role will own the ongoing governance and reporting to the senior leadership committees and boards.
  • Provides advice and support to stakeholders from implementation to BAU, making improvements to frameworks and reporting.
  • Be the key SME for Operational Resilience across the European business maintaining oversight of the business service lifecycle and capturing vulnerabilities to ensure they are supervised by the business to resolution.
  • Responsible for the coordination and management of important business service owners, facilitates the approval of changes to important business services and impact tolerances at each legal entity level.
  • Prepares and supports the facilitation of governance to enable senior management to steer the decisions of relevant European legal entities.
  • Maintains the annual self-assessment documentation.
  • Designs, implements, and leads stress testing of each important business service.

Skills/ Experience Required

  • 5+ years demonstrable work experience in Digital Operational Resilience, preferably within financial services
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills will be key as this role will face off to a variety of stakeholders across the business.
  • Must have sound understanding and previous experience with DORA implementation.
  • Relevant Business Continuity qualifications  preferred.
