We are supporting our client, an Insurance MGA, in their search for a Reinsurance Claims Adjuster within their US Property Claims team to join their claims department, in their amazing London offices on a full-time, flexible hybrid basis.
Working on average 3 days a week in the office and 2 at home, you will be utilising your experience and knowledge of the US Property market and Claims adjusting experience to cover matters across a variety of areas.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing the claims performance and improving their processes, as you grow into the role you will also be afforded new opportunities to be involved in other Claims business.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
 

  • To handle all claims, with due consideration of any potential subrogation and tight costs control, as referrals or via DCAs and to manage all DCAs to required standards.
  • To manipulate data and provide analysis of claims to highlight trends, performance issues, leakage, costs spend, litigation and fraud.
  • Management of bordereau and loss funds.
  • Collaborate continuously with underwriters and client meetings to help underwriters gain and retain profitable business.

The right candidate for this role will have an understanding of the Lloyd’s markets, as this is necessary to successfully process and manage the Claims-related elements of the role. In this role you will currently be dealing with the US property market and have experience in dealing with complex claims from cradle to grace. Additionally, it would be advantageous to be working towards ACII qualification.
