My client, a leading securities brokerage, is looking for someone to join a team responsible for both Product Control and Revenue Reporting for their entities across the globe. This role will work closely with colleagues across a range of functions including Front Office, Operations, and the wider Finance teams.

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000
This role will provide the opportunity to:
- Daily monitoring and control of global Profit & Loss and Revenue reports, including the review of trade flow issues, their revenue impact, and manual or automatic revenue accounting entries.
- Oversee the mapping of Sub-ledger to Ledger, while monitoring Revenue Control Accounts, balance sheet accounts, and monthly positions, fails, and pending transactions.
- Collaborate closely with a variety of teams within Finance, liaising with Trading desks, Operations, Middle Office, and IT Teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting.
- Participate in monthly Profit & Loss calls, review variance analyses on fees prepared by other members of the team, and manage the end-to-end Revenue Control process, including reviewing Transfer Pricing models and accounting treatment.
- Review SOX Certification documents, assist external auditors with statutory audits, and provide ad hoc global revenue reports to senior management and other departments as needed.
- Contribute to system and product migration projects, using effective escalation to highlight issues and focus on recurring problems, and drive enhancement projects and system fixes.
To apply for this role, you must have:
- An Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Experience in an audit or accounting role within a practice firm.
- Experience of managing or supervising junior members of the team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with colleagues across the business at all levels.
- A controls-focused mentality, capable of identifying vulnerabilities and weaknesses, and excellent accounting, analytical and reporting skills.
- Product Control knowledge would be an advantage in this role
