Position:
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Credit Control Analyst to join a small but growing team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to the financial success of the company and grow their career in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct credit control activities, including monitoring outstanding balances, chasing overdue payments, and reconciling accounts
  • Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update internal systems accordingly
  • Analyse credit risk and provide recommendations to management for risk mitigation strategies
  • Prepare regular reports on account receivables, aging analysis, and credit exposure for management review
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to credit control and implement necessary changes to policies and procedures as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit control within the insurance industry preferably within a Lloyd's syndicate
  • Strong understanding of insurance premium accounting principles and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
