I am working in partnership with a well respected wealth management firm in the UK looking to hire a Head of Investor Relations in their London office. This business aims to build long-lasting client and investor relationships, providing tailored solutions whilst fostering an incredibly collaborative and forward-thinking workplace environment for their employees.
Reporting directly into the CFO, this opportunity will allow an experienced Investor Relations professional to take full ownership of the IR roadmap and work strategically with both senior internal stakeholders and external investors.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Developing a comprehensive IR strategy and plan
- Active involvement in key investor communication, ranging from website content, PR, marketing material update and content
- Build upon investor perception of the businesses drive for delivering value to shareholders
- Ensure continued and consistent communication between internal and external stakeholders
- Manage relationships with existing investors
- Provide the Executive Committee market insights and activity
- Monitor industry trends, competitor behaviours and be proactive in anticipating future business impact
The ideal candidate will have:
- An experienced investor relations professional who understands the value in delivering first-in-class service to internal and external parties
- Ideally someone from a financial services institution (or wider FTSE 100 business)
- Knowledge of the wealth management industry advantageous but not essential
- Previous experience working with finance teams (FP&A, corporate finance etc)
- A strong team player who is able to build strong relationships both inside and outside a business
- Experience and willingness to be hands on when it comes to investor content and materials updating
