Our client, a leading investment bank is looking for an Operational Risk Analyst to join their team based in London on an initial contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- The team is responsible for ensuring operational risk/control data is effectively monitored and reported to ensure appropriate oversight against risks and alignment with wider initiatives and enterprise policies.
- Assisting with Risk/Controls oversight and improvements.
- Maintaining and optimisation of Key Control Inventories.
- Facilitate quarterly control self-assessment cycles.
- Conducting independent control evaluations to ensure design and operating effectiveness of controls.
- Raising, monitoring and validating Issue/ actions resulting from control assurances performed.
- Coordinate and collaborate with colleagues and partners located in different regions and across legal entities.
Experience:
- Previous experience in Operational Risk and solid understanding of key Operational Risks.
- Experience within Financial Services.
