My Client, a top Investment Bank, are looking to hire a Head of Group Reporting. The role will be responsible for ensuring group reporting complies with disclosure requirements and designing disclosures and processes for new reporting requirements.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring Group Annual Report, Interim report and quarterly Earnings Release Statements comply with disclosure requirements.
  • Interpreting new financial reporting requirements and designing the processes to capture and validate the information required for the associated external disclosures.
  • Documenting the operating procedures, application guidance and disclosure instructions.
  • Leading continuous improvement and technical development of current procedures and guidance for teams globally.
  • Translating technical accounting policy and reporting requirements into operational processes.
  • Collaborating with Regulatory Reporting and Finance Transformation teams to assess the impact of new requirements and to ensure processes run smoothly before they are transitioned to BAU.

To apply for this role you must have:

  • Significant financial reporting experience within a Large Investment Bank, and an understanding of the disclosures required by such businesses.
  • Advanced technical accounting knowledge and hands-on experience of Financial Instruments and Banking disclosures.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting across IFRS Accounting Standards, SE, Companies Act and UK regulation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills – including investor relations, and working with other functions including Risk and Treasury.
  • A change mindset, capable of collaborating with multiple teams to implement changes.
