We are representing a market-leading asset management firm, known for its extensive range of funds and investment solutions, in their search for an experienced and creative Content Manager focusing on their pension clients. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in crafting and managing content that drives engagement and supports the client journey within the pensions sector.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues across Distribution, Investments, and other key business areas to ensure all content aligns with the company’s objectives and client needs
  • Ensuring that all content adheres to Consumer Duty standards by producing clear, fair, and non-misleading marketing collateral. Promptly escalate any concerns to senior management
  • Managing and producing essential communications, including email updates, business announcements, and crisis communications from senior leadership. Ensuring consistency with the brand’s voice and compliance with industry standards
  • Providing support for pensions-related projects and offer ad hoc assistance to the Content and Marketing teams. This includes tasks such as editing, managing digital content, supporting internal communications, and producing award submissions and media content
  • Developing and implement innovative content ideas that engage clients at every stage of the pensions journey. You'll work across various platforms, including social media, video, and podcasts, and create materials for events and marketing collateral.
  • Delivering precise copy-editing for pensions fund reports and presentations. Coordinate and proofread content from subject matter experts and external writers to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture, aligning with the company’s values.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience of professional writing in asset management, PR, or journalism, with strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong writing and editing abilities, with the capacity to craft content for diverse audiences. Experience in leveraging multimedia, such as blogs, podcasts, video interviews, and social media, to maximise content reach.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring projects align with business goals and are delivered on time.
  • An understanding of the investments landscape, with pensions (particularly DC) knowledge an added bonus
