We are supporting our client, a Lloyd’s Insurance Broker, in their search for a Claims Technician to join the business in their amazing London offices on a full-time, flexible hybrid basis. Working on average 3 days a month in the office, you will be utilising your experience in Claims handling to cover matters across a variety of areas. You will be responsible for claims handling from cradle to grave, partnering regularly with other teams as well as providing direction and insight to your own.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing the firm’s Portfolio of North American Property claims; as you grow into the role you will also be afforded new opportunities to be involved in other claims business.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

•         Preparation of & familiarisation with bordereaux collection and other files for effective presentation to Underwriters.
•         Create entries and update financial records on relevant system(s).
•         Develop and sustain relationships with Clients, TPA’s, Insurers and colleagues.
•         Ensure the company systems and procedures are followed at all times.

The right candidate for this role will have an understanding of the Lloyd’s markets, as this is necessary to successfully process and manage the Claims-related elements of the role. They must have experience in handling claims in any class of business and be keen to focus on primarily North American Property claims. Additionally, have knowledge of using claims systems such as ECF/CLASS, BDX and loss funds.
