Our client, a Market leading International Insurer & Syndicate is seeking a skilled and motivated Casualty Binders Underwriter to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to manage and underwrite their Casualty Direct Binders account, playing a key part in the development of their future growth plans.
The successful candidate will underwrite in accordance to the established appetite. They will collaborate closely with internal claims teams and external brokers to ensure a seamless underwriting process, meeting all compliance standards. Regular attendance at Lloyd’s will be required, where they will underwrite and represent the business within the market, contributing to its continued growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Expertise in underwriting Casualty Binders, combined with sound knowledge of risk control frameworks.
- Strong compliance awareness, ensuring adherence to licensing and broker security requirements.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships in the market and drive positive results.
- A proactive attitude with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player who can motivate and lead when required, working closely with assistants and other internal departments.
