We are supporting our client, a Lloyd’s Insurer, in their search for a Senior Financial Claims executive, to join the business in their amazing office in Bermuda, on a full-time, flexible hybrid basis. You will be utilising your experience in Financial Lines Claims, to cover matters across a variety of areas specifically in D&O and FI business.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing the firm’s financial lines claims portfolio, you will be dealing with a large bulk of FI, D&O claims as well as being exposed to other financial lines claims such as PI and Cyber business.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Handle a pending claim count of complex and non-complex claims involving underlying litigations/investigations/claims predominantly pending in the US

Analyze coverage and draft coverage positions and correspondence

Evaluate liability, and damages to determine potential exposure

Timely prepare large loss reports, post reserves, and escalate complex coverage issues to Senior Director, as appropriate.
The right candidate for this role will have an understanding of the Lloyd’s Claims market, specifically in FI & D&O and a good understanding of the US Market, however not limited to other financial lines. This role requires an individual with prior experience claims handling with advanced expertise and knowledge in complex claims and technically sophisticated claims topics.
