An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and strategic content professional to lead and develop the content function for a highly respected European investment management firm. This senior role offers the chance to work with a dynamic marketing team, influencing content strategy across multiple business lines, and contributing directly to the firm’s commercial success.
As Content Lead, this individual will play a pivotal role in defining and executing a robust content strategy for the firm’s fiduciary management and investment strategy divisions. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this is a high-profile position with regular interaction with senior leadership across the UK and Europe.
You will be responsible for developing a structured, long-term approach to content creation while managing a growing team of content specialists. Your focus will be on delivering impactful, high-quality materials tailored to institutional and wholesale audiences across a range of European markets.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Develop and implement a strategic content plan aligned with business goals, transitioning from a reactive to a proactive content model
- Establish and maintain core messaging frameworks for the firm’s key products and services, ensuring consistency and clarity across all outputs
- Oversee the creation of a diverse range of content, including whitepapers, blogs, articles, podcasts, video scripts, and social media copy
- Inspire and upskill the content team while fostering strong collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders, such as portfolio managers and sales teams
- Ensure all content adheres to relevant regulatory standards, with particular focus on sustainability-related requirements in Europe
The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant experience in investment writing within asset management, covering a range of formats such as whitepapers, blogs, and video scripts
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and asset classes, with the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging narratives
- Proven ability to develop and deliver content strategies that align with commercial objectives
- Awareness of sustainability-specific regulatory requirements within Europe
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A collaborative mindset, capable of building productive relationships across all levels of seniority
