We are partnering with a highly regarded asset management to hire a driven and skilled Institutional Salesperson to join its UK & Ireland team. The firm is renowned for its strong track record of delivering consistent performance across market cycles, with a focus on capital preservation and long-term growth. With a client-centric approach, the firm provides tailored investment solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of institutional investors, with this role focusing on business development with Defined Contribution (DC) pension schemes. This role presents an exciting opportunity to represent a trusted and forward-thinking firm, helping to expand its reach and influence within the DC pension market.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with the firm’s goals and values
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets by promoting the firm’s offerings, including bespoke investment strategies and solutions
  • Developing and executing a strategic sales plan targeting DC pension schemes across the UK and Ireland
  • Cultivating and managing relationships with key decision-makers, including trustees, consultants, and investment committees
  • Presenting the firm’s investment solutions in a clear, compelling, and consultative manner tailored to the needs of DC clients
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless onboarding and ongoing service to clients
  • Staying abreast of trends and regulatory developments in the DC pension space, ensuring the firm’s offerings remain competitive and relevant
  • Providing feedback from the market to inform product development and enhance client solutions
  • Working closely with other institutional sales professionals, marketing teams, and investment specialists to drive cohesive and effective outreach strategies
  • Representing the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build the firm's brand and market presence

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven track record in institutional sales, specifically targeting DC pension schemes in the UK and Ireland
  • Strong understanding of the asset management landscape, DC market dynamics, and relevant regulatory environment
  • Exceptional relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Results-driven mindset, coupled with a collaborative and client-focused approach
  • Experience working in a sophisticated investment environment, with knowledge of multi-asset strategies being advantageous
