Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist (12-Month FTC)

We’re looking for a Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist to join our client on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

In this role, you’ll support the Supplier Manager in selecting, onboarding, and managing a diverse range of suppliers, from printers and SaaS providers to IT consultancies. You’ll work closely with legal, IT, and business owners, ensuring supplier governance, compliance, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and rollout of a supplier selection framework.
  • Assist with supplier onboarding, due diligence, and governance approvals.
  • Maintain accurate supplier records and conduct ongoing audits.
  • Help business owners with supplier performance management and contract negotiations.
  • Produce management reports and drive cost savings.
  • Keep policies, processes, and guidance up to date.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and deliver training when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in procurement, supplier selection, and contract management.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial contract terms and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across different business areas.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and supplier management databases.
  • Excellent attention to detail and relationship-building skills.
