We are partnering with a globally recognised investment management firm is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Sales Support to join their UK Advisory sales team on an initial 14 month maternity cover basis. This business pride themselves on the long tenure and retention of staff in the business, and there is a chance this opportunity could be extended or made permanent for the right individual. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in supporting the Head of UK Sales to help drive business growth.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Working closely with Sales Directors to manage client territories, making client calls, and providing insights on product offerings
- Developing and nurturing relationships with financial professionals to encourage sales growth and asset retention
- Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while maintaining existing client connections
- Responding to client inquiries regarding financial data, market conditions, and fund performance
- Overseeing smaller accounts, guiding them through the full sales cycle
- Coordinating sales initiatives, including meetings, conference calls, and strategic business development efforts
- Ensuring all sales literature, marketing materials, and necessary documentation are provided to clients in a timely manner
- Keeping CRM systems updated with client interactions and sales activity to track engagement effectively
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in the financial services sector, preferably in sales support or client service role
- Holds full IMC or CISI Level 4 qualifications
- A self-starter with excellent organisation and planning skills who thrives in an independent working environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to establish rapport with financial professionals
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is highly advantageous.
