Job Title: Divisional Director – Claims (Construction & Real Estate)
Location: London (Hybrid – Office & Home Based)
Salary: Up to £120,000

Overview:
My client, a leading ambitious Lloyd’s Broking house is seeking an experienced Divisional Director to lead its Claims function within the Construction & Real Estate segment. This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing complex global claims, leading a high-performing team, and delivering outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Construction & Real Estate claims team, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

  • Handle complex claims across Builders Risk, General Liability, Professional Liability, CAR, and Surety Bonds.

  • Provide technical expertise and strategic claims advice to clients and colleagues.

  • Maintain and grow strong client and market relationships.

  • Drive team performance, development, recruitment, and training.

  • Contribute to business development and support retention and growth initiatives.

About You:

  • 8+ years’ experience in construction claims (broker, insurer, or loss adjuster).

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Proven experience in complex, global construction claims.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • CERT CII or ACII (preferred but not essential).
