Located in the heart of Soho, London, this Mexican taqueria restaurant offers authentic tacos in a fast-casual dining setting. All food is freshly prepared on site with handmade tacos and salsas and served fresh to order.
As the Head Chef/Chef Manager, you will be
* experienced in running the day to day operation of a fast-casual restaurant
* leading a team of 6 kitchen plus front of house staff as well as hands on in the kitchen when required
* managing admin such as staff rotas and confirming hours to payroll
* overseeing all food safety and health and safety as well as daily due diligence. Experience with the Trail app is a plus.
Opening hours are Monday to Sunday, 11:30 – 00:30
Working hours are approx. 45 hours per week on a shift rota including evenings and weekends

You as the ideal candidate would have
* Proven experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef ideally in a fast casual restaurant setting
* Good knowledge of Mexican Cuisine ideal
* Kitchen/Chef background (essential)
* Ability to lead, train and manage kitchen staff
* Ability to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment
* Effective communication skills for coordinating kitchen staff and front of house
* Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
* High standards and attention to detail
* Passion, enthusiasm with a positive attitude
