We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to join our team at one of our sites based in Manchester.
Our client is an established, quality-led contract caterer. Who work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. They work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.
Working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 7:00am to 3:30pm – Permanent
We are looking for a positive, honest and reliable employee to provide the highest standards of food and service within the restaurant, achieve the objectives and standards set by the company and client. To make the restaurant a special place to visit for their customers. They can offer good training and prospects within their team for the right candidate.
The site has a breakfast and Lunch offer with some adhoc sandwich lunches, buffets and events.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
– Be responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen and the preparation and cooking of all types of dishes.
– Having experience of working with fresh seasonal ingredients and producing dishes to a high standard is essential.
– Be responsible, dedicated and a strong leader with the ability to manage a team of 4.
– Be able to train and develop your team supportively and professionally.
– Deliver consistent food standards following the company brand standards.
– Deliver fresh, seasonal and innovative food from around the world.
– Contribute to developing on trend, innovative menus.
– Be able to interact and engage with people while the food is being served.
