Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead their kitchen team in providing exceptional culinary experiences in a stunning venue. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, creativity in menu development, and strong leadership skills to inspire and guide the kitchen staff. This is a great opportunity for a Head Chef with both Banqueting & Restaurant experience.
Pay: £37,000.00-£42,000.00 per annum
Live-in is available but not permanently
Responsibilities:
– Oversee all aspects of food preparation to ensure high-quality dishes are served
– Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support
– Develop innovative menus that meet customers’ preferences and budget requirements
– Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
– Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
– Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or promotions
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a hospitality or restaurant setting
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
– Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
– Understanding of kitchen operations, including inventory management and cost control
– Certification in food safety and sanitation practices is preferred
– Banqueting experience is a must
