Organisationalmovement of freight out of the country in accordance with organisational policy and procedure, and to comply with relevant local country and international customs law and process.
Manage the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective, and lawful execution of all export activities
Communicate with customers and suppliers, in all relevant territories and countries, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive and lawful relations, support and activities.
Liaise with airlines, obtain spot rates, liaise with sales team and customers
Liaise with the warehouse and distribution team to ensure the swift movement of freight through our facility
Ensure compliance at all times (CAA regulations)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Documentation: Prepare and review all necessary export documentation, air way bills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export declarations, to ensure accuracy and compliance with international regulations.
Booking and Coordination: Coordinate and book air cargo shipments with airlines and other service providers, ensuring timely pickup and delivery of goods.
Customer Communication: Serve as a point of contact for customers, providing updates on shipment status, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Customs Compliance: Ensure that all shipments comply with customs and export regulations, including adherence to import/export laws and sanctions.
Cargo Tracking: Monitor and track shipments throughout the transportation process, providing real-time updates to clients and internal teams.

Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve any shipment-related issues, such as delays, damages, or customs clearance challenges.

Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate reports related to export activities, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in air export operations or international logistics. Knowledge of perishable goods export procedures and regulations is an advantage.
Knowledge of customs regulations, export documentation, and international shipping procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Proficiency in relevant computer software and applications.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
