Hospitality Sous Chef, B&I, City of London £38k – £40k
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and creative Hospitality Sous Chef to support the running of the fine dining and hospitality at our client’s site based in the City of London.
This prestigious site has an extremely busy hospitality department. The food produced here is of the highest quality and ranges from working lunches to canapés and sit down formal dinners. All food is freshly prepared using seasonal ingredients and presentation is essential.
As the Hospitality Sous Chef, you will
* support the Hospitality Head Chef with the day to day running of the hospitality kitchen and ensure all food created and produced is above and beyond the clients’ expectation
* naturally be a strong team player with the ability to guide and mentor the team where needed
* be involved with menus and tastings
Working hours will be Monday to Friday (including evenings), approx. 40 hours per week.
Our ideal candidate would
* be at Sous Chef level with a proven career history with high end hospitality catering
* have worked within corporate catering or a similar environment
* have fine dining experience ideally within a Michelin star or Rosette restaurant
* be a strong team player with the ability to develop and train
* be naturally passionate about food and ingredients as well as up to date with trends and concepts
* have an excellent eye for detail and presentation with flair and creativity
* be flexible and willing with a positive can do attitude
