Senior Chef de Partie/Junior Sous Chef, London starting salary £31k, Monday to Friday – Immediate Start

We currently have a fantastic and unique opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join this great catering team based in Central London.

Working within a Government building and catering for up to 3500 daily, the kitchen services a busy staff restaurant, coffee bar and vending as well as hospitality, functions and private dining.

As the Senior Chef de Partie/Junior Sous Chef, you will be
* Working alongside a good strong team to produce fresh seasonal food for the staff restaurant and hospitality
* Supporting the Head Chef to lead and motivate the team
* Contributing to menus and theme days
* Help to oversee stock take, due diligence and training of other staff members

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. There may be very occasional weekends (paid at double time)
Salary will increase to £33k after the first year

*Due to the nature of this site, the successful candidate will need to undergo an in-depth security clearance prior to starting the position permanently.

To be considered as a candidate, you will be
* passionate Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef with a proven, consistent work history
* ideally have worked within B&I or contract catering
* able to work well within a team as well as using your initiative
* attentive to detail and presentation
* adapt at communication with excellent organisational skills
* enthusiastic and dynamic with a flexible and positive, can do attitude
* willing to undergo an in depth security clearance check
