Sous Chef, 4* Hotel, Pitlochry, Scotland £33k + tronc, accommodation available

Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and passionate chef to step up to their first Sous Chef position.

This small, luxury hotel provides outstanding modern Scottish food with a classical influence. All food (including ice creams, stocks, bread etc) is made fresh and on site. With a small kitchen team, this is an ideal role for an enthusiastic and ambitious Chef de Partie to step up to a Sous Chef role.

What you will be doing:
* Supporting the running of the kitchen and ensuring all food produced is of the high standard expected
* Involvement in all aspects of menu writing, ordering, organisation, prep and service
* Working as part of a small team covering all areas including washing up

Working hours are 5/7 days, 48hrs per week – Two consecutive days and nights off per week (very predictable)

* A passionate Chef de Partie looking for a first Sous Chef position in a small 2 AA rosette kitchen
* A real team player
* Someone genuinely passionate about exceptional food and ingredients with a keen interest in foraging
* An eye for detail and presentation
* Flexible and willing with a positive, can do attitude and a keenness to learn
