We are seeking an Engineering Lecturer who has the skills to inspire apprentices, colleagues, and stakeholders. This role provides the opportunity to teach advanced manufacturing programmes, aligning with apprenticeship standards and innovative teaching models to enhance educational practice working for a well know and respected, people centric organisations on an exciting growth journey.
Responsibilities:
- Teach advanced manufacturing programmes following Apprenticeship standards.
- Plan, monitor, and evaluate the curriculum to promote a positive learning culture.
- Prepare and assess student work, providing meaningful feedback.
- Produce timely reports on student progress and ensure data monitoring.
- Participate in apprentice interviews, enrolment, induction, open days, and enrichment activities.
- Develop blended learning resources using CANVAS.
Requirements:
- Teaching qualification (Level 3) and experience with Virtual Learning Environments (VLE).
- Experience teaching Electrical Engineering up to Level 4.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM, Electrical Distribution Systems, and Engineering Mathematics.
- Ability to work as part of a team to create innovative teaching resources.
