We are partnering with a leading asset management firm with over $100bil AUM globally which dedicates a high level of service to its core institutional client base. They are currently looking to hire an Institutional Sales Associate to join them on a permanent basis in their London office. This role offers a dynamic pathway into institutional investment sales, providing a platform to develop strong communication and organisational skills while supporting the consultant relations and sales processes.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Coordinate internal RFP processes and contribute to crafting the final messages.
- Participate in meetings and calls, document key points, and follow up on action items, including performing analytical/quantitative tasks
- Partner with Sales Directors to assist in relationship development and sales activities
- Organise and monitor meetings and conference calls alongside the sales and consultant relations teams
- Manage the preparation of materials for meetings
- Facilitate seamless internal coordination and maintain clear communication with prospects and consultants
- Conduct market research to identify potential prospects and relevant strategies.
- Engage in various ad-hoc projects as needed
- Collaborate with the team to refine and personalise marketing and client documents
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a global organisation
- Strong analytical capabilities with advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- IMC preferable, but not mandatory
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced setting
- Highly driven, energetic, and confident with a strong interest in the finance sector.
- Demonstrated experience in project management
- Strong commitment to providing prompt and professional service to prospects and team members
